HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, vice president of the Executive Council, yesterday morning, at the Ruler’s Office, the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah meeting.
The meeting discussed a number of important issues relating to the provision of services to citizens and residents of the emirate, and see the progress of work in the housing projects, and infrastructure development.
After the ratification of the minutes of the previous meeting, the Council adopted a memorandum of understanding between the Sharjah International Airport Authority and the General Command of Sharjah Police and the Department of Seaports and Customs, followed in about shipping center Sharjah International Airport security procedures. The memo comes in an effort to activate the integration of government, through government departments and agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah, to provide better services to passengers, transport companies and freight.
Council passed Resolution No. 12 of 2016, regarding the collection of the use of the Sharjah International Airport facilities fee, and states that met Drawing leave of 35 dirhams, compared to the use of the airport and its services facilities, and is referred to under the name of drawing airport facilities, and met this fee for all passengers, including transit, when you leave any of them emirate through the airport to outside the country, with the exception of the fee of less than two years of age, and the crew of the aircraft and crews, when performing their duties, and passersby who have the access number and departure flight from the same airport.
The Council discussed the comprehensive study of the optical signals of the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to provide a study of the traffic control system, to assess the current situation and provide suggestions for the development of the project. Within an update on the agenda of the meeting, we discussed a number of proposals made by the Sharjah Sports Council, from sporting events to be held in the emirate, and drew in coordination with the concerned authorities.
He also briefed the Council on the work of the fifth session agenda, the first ordinary of the ninth legislative term of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, to be held on Thursday, April 7 / April 2016 for the session.
And adopted the request of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, to discuss the Department of Housing Authority and Sharjah Electricity and Water Policy, the Roads and Transport Authority, the General Headquarters of Sharjah Police, was briefed on a number of administrative decisions issued.
